Aftercare

The First Few Hours

We’ll wrap your tattoo before you leave the studio. Keep the wrap on for the time we tell you. Don’t peel it back to show people. Once the time is up, wash your hands, then gently remove the wrap and wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap. Pat it dry with a clean paper towel. Don’t rub it. Once it's fully dry apply a thin layer of after care cream. For aftercare we recommend to use natural shea butter, cocoa butter based creams.

Days 1 to 14

Wash the tattoo gently twice a day with clean hands and fragrance-free soap. Pat dry with a paper towel each time.

Apply a very thin layer of the aftercare product we recommend. Don’t overdo it. Your skin needs to breathe. A tiny amount, smoothed over the surface, is enough.

Don’t pick, scratch, or peel any flaking skin. It will flake naturally as it heals. Picking it can pull ink out and ruin the lines.

Avoid soaking the tattoo. That means no baths, no swimming pools, no hot tubs, no saunas. Quick showers are fine, just don’t let water blast directly onto the tattoo for ages.

Don’t expose it to direct sunlight. If you’re going outside, keep it covered with loose clothing.

Wear loose, breathable clothing over the area if possible. Tight clothes can irritate a fresh tattoo.

Weeks 2 to 4

Your tattoo might look a bit dull or cloudy during this phase. That’s completely normal. The top layers of skin are still settling. The full clarity of the lines will come through once healing is complete.

Keep moisturising ,keep it out of direct sun. If it’s itchy, that usually means it’s healing. Don’t scratch it.

Long-Term Care

Once your tattoo is fully healed, the single best thing you can do for it is wear sunscreen. UV exposure is the main thing that fades fine line tattoos over time. If you’re going to be in the sun, put SPF 50 on it. It’s a small habit that makes a big difference.
